While working in a Seniors Assisted Living facility, President and founder of weentertainseniors.com Lori Veres was faced with the challenge of finding musicians, dancers, variety acts, instructors and travel opportunities for older adults. She found it frustrating that there was no online connection between Retirement Homes and entertainers.
Armed with a University degree, over 20 years of work experience in Municipal Parks and Recreation and as an Assisted Living Social Coordinator, and her idea for an online directory of entertainment for seniors, Lori decided to become an entrepreneur. After months of planning and a lot of hard work weentertainseniors.com was launched in the fall of 2008.
